stp,,,,,,,,,,about 30 years ago in a far away galaxy called chicago,at u of i.there were a couple doctors schooled in clinical ecology whose tenets then and now were that biological sensitivities to foods, mold, pollen, sugars, and manmade and natural chemicals have vast correlation to such illnesses as asthma, ulcers, bowel disease,pneumonia,hyperactivity,add/hd,learning disability, depression.the boards of directors elected to accept help in research funding and clinical studies from pharmaceutical companies, resulting that clinical ecologists left chgo for the suburbs;their techniques, and formulae for allergy treatment went with them.on the web there are ONE BILLION FOUR HUNDRED FORTY MILLION listings under ' health" and ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TEN listings for mental health. Doctors of The American Academy.of Environmental Medicine have treated gulf war vets for chemical illness, ptsd; on their website they offer membership for 500 dollars to the interested public, and with membership one can then attend a yearly convention to hear all about their beautiful work and be unable to afford their fees because insurance companies don't extend recognition to them, and I cannot pay 100 to 1500 dollars out of pocket. The clinical ecologists have a reputation for being slow, meticulous doctors who see between 20 & 30 patients a week,vs 150 to 250 a week for traditional gp docs.these are capable physicians who could help some of the people in these posts. I'd draft all the doctors, send about 5 thousand mainstream and alternative docs to bhopal india where the union carbide disaster killed 3000 people in 1984.Still, thousands still need help in 2k7 we'd see which medical approach is more effective. What is the truth? Do you know? What ought to happen?

i think people have lost compassion, caring and understanding of others. it seems like everything i hear is "I this, I that" no one accepts the consequences for their actions, it is always "he made me mad, she cut me off in traffic, they just burn me up!" the only thing that can change our world is to regain compassion, understanding caring. we need to be completely non judgemental of everyone. so what if they are gay...so what if they are fat, so what if they waste their money. love everyone anyway. if we were all like Ghandi, wouldn't this be a wonderful world.
I suppose that line of thought is the biggest pipe-dream of all time. i'll just go take my antidepressant and go to bed.

I feel for you. The truth is the truth. I suggest reading the books by James Redfield (The Celestine Prophecy, The Tenth Insight, The Secret of Shambhala). They speak of the path we are on.:

Imagine there are 2 points of absolute knowledge. The point of reason and the point of silent knowledge. Each point contains all the knowledge one could possibly want or need.

The point of reason holds the absolutes of logic. Each anamoly can be mapped out from it and by it. These points are then given continuity. You can tell people what the object is made of. Theories like time and space help break each anamoly into easy to follow points. Using one or the other you can map out where or when any given object is or was. You can even, to a certain degree, forecast where this object will be and when. The basic questions can be answered: What, When, Where.

The point of silent knowledge accounts for other unanswered questions: Who and Why. If you understand Who a person is then you can generally understand why they would come to commit any particular thing. Conversely, if you understand why someone could act in any given fashion then you have general insight into who that person is. One does not completely explain the other. Neither of these explanations will give a complete picture.

Now here is the final Question: How. This third point Allows us to bridge the gap between Reason and silent knowledge. This point of knowledge, unfortunately (?), transcends language. One cannot sit at this point and explain the answers. One can only act or not act. This third point can be referred to as intent. Looking at any choice made will show the intent of the entity making the choice.

Language cannot fully describe silebnt knowledge or intent. Language is a logical system of symbols that speaks in frameworks. The word is given a definition. This definition uses even more words as descriptors. These words and their definitions further obscure what is being spoken of. When I say "cat" you instinctively think of what your experience has shown you a cat is: 4 legs, furry, with a tail. Silent knowledge goes beyond this framework. Who and why cannot be summed up in words. I could not tell you who I am, anymore than I could tell you why you do what you do. When you begin to use words What is said shows more about the speaker than it does about the subject. How we choose to describe an object shows how we choose to view that object. Our intent is shown in every action we commit.

hullo
trying to be an idealist in this world is not practical, telling others the truth without being asked by them, might irritate some people ,the only thing you will get is headache.
it is your duty to tell the truth when you are asked to as a good citizen, still you have to respect the integrity of others.

it seemed to get worse after 911 when I thought people would be more kind and helpfull to each other, instead people are walking around in fear deep inside and are more angry and jump at anything we say.
